Fernando Bermejo’s research focuses on the study and measurement of audiences, online advertising, and communication theory.  He is the author of The Internet Audience: Constitution and Measurement (Peter Lang, New York) and editor of On Communicating: Otherness, Meaning, and Information (Routledge: New York). He holds a Ph.D. in Communication from the Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona, and an M.A. from the Annenberg School for Communication, University of Pennsylvania. He teaches at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Spain, and is a Faculty Associate at the Berkman Center for Internet & Society, Harvard University, where he was a Faculty Fellow in residence during the 2009-10 academic year.
