Michael Dick is a doctoral student in the Faculty of Information at the University of Toronto. His research focuses on the historical and cultural context of ICTs, particularly the Web. He is also interested in the linkages between media and transportation, as well as technology policy and the social implications of technology. Mr. Dick holds an MA in Communication and Culture from Ryerson and York Universities in Toronto, and an Honours BA in Radio and Television Arts and English, also from Ryerson.
